Your responsibilities
- Operating systems knowledge, including Windows and Linux, is required
- Perform backup software installations, system software maintenance and product upgrades in a 24x7 high availability environment
- Engage in engineering phases of backup software and related storage solutions delivery including planning, design, build, testing, and transition to operational support
- Work closely with various internal teams and auditors to generate timely audit reports
- Monitor production environment and take corrective action
- Maintenance and administration of infrastructure in a 24x7 high availability
If you have
- 3 + years of relevant, hands-on experience in Enterprise Backup and Recovery utilizing Dell Avamar, EMC Data Domain, Veeam, Azure Backup
- Good understanding of the automation tools and scripting including PowerShell
- Extensive hands-on experience and technical understanding with Dell SAN storage backup solutions
- Storage and Backup Technology related certifications or training highly desirable
- Scripting and automation skills are welcome (e.g. PowerShell)
- Knowledge of IT Service Management and best practices are welcome (e.g. ITIL, SNOW)
