Join an international company with a high focus on digitalisation, agility and personal development. In this role, you will oversee major release deployments in Arla IT (primarily SAP) and coordinate multiple systems areas to ensure problem-free releases.

Coordinate major releases in our SAP Basis system

As our new major release manager, you will work very closely with our primary major release manager in the Service Transition team but will be responsible for your own areas of systems. Your main responsibility will be to facilitate that all major SAP systems are maintained and updated with the relevant system packages. You do this to ensure minimum downtime and business disruption due to errors in the system.  

Dealing with complex and business-critical SAP systems, you:

• Plan and coordinate technical go-live plans with key stakeholders – from top management to our operators in the dairies
• Collaborate with our SAP architect on coordinating yearly maintenance plans
• Take responsibility for CSI on our major release template concept
• Define scalable hyper care requirements for the various major releases

You will be employed at our offices in Gdansk, Poland, on a Polish contract, but you can expect to travel to Denmark about 1 week a month to support your collaboration with our Danish Service Transition team.

You have 4+ years of experience with SAP Basis implementation. With your strong project management skills and well-structured approach, you can structure your own work. Moreover, you have the ability to rise above detail level, gain an overview of your releases and make difficult decisions.

In addition, you are a competent communicator who enjoys collaborating with and managing a wide range of stakeholders – both internal and external. To do so, you speak and write professional English. As your key collaborators will be based in Denmark, much of your work will be via our virtual collaboration platforms. However, you can also expect up to 30% travel, mainly to Denmark.
